Description
Otis Watson is the younger brother of Charlie Watson and the son of Sally Watson. He is a young boy who trains in karate and has reached the rank of yellow belt under his instructor, Master Larry. His primary interests are his martial arts practice and maintaining a typical sibling rivalry with his older sister. Unlike Charlie, who remains deeply affected by the death of their father, Otis has largely moved past his grief and has warmly accepted Ron, his mother's new boyfriend, as part of the family. He also has a pet dog named Conan.
In the story, Otis is drawn into the unusual events surrounding Charlie when she becomes involved with a transforming alien robot. After Charlie and her friend Memo leave to rescue Bumblebee, Charlie persuades Otis to cover for her and keep their mother from finding out.
