Description
Tōya Sagami, a lunar-born survivor among the final fifteen moonchildren, was orphaned early and raised by his uncle, the mayor of Anshin space station. Dependent on an AI-designed brain implant for survival, its unstable dissolution risked his life during adolescence. Forced into grueling physical therapy to endure Earth’s gravity, he resented both the process and the planet, openly scorning Earthlings as prejudiced and clinging to his identity as a space-born outsider. His defiance manifested in a rebellious streak—modifying his AI drone, Dakky, to breach UN restrictions and hacking systems, from station controls to his own neural implant.

Brash and isolated, Tōya dismissed social norms, earning labels like "8th-grade syndrome" for his abrasive self-reliance. Yet his skills proved vital when a comet struck Anshin, forcing him to collaborate with Earth-born allies like UN agent Taiyo Tsukuba. Exploiting his implant’s fading quantum-link capabilities, he bridged contact with the rogue AI Second Seven, pivotal to averting disaster.

Though initially nihilistic, Tōya’s interactions with companions eroded his disdain. Post-crisis, he confronted his fears by leaving Anshin, embracing uneasy alliances to investigate the station’s collapse and repair fractured bonds. His livestreamed actions during the comet crisis inadvertently spurred mass Earth emigration, aligning with Second Seven’s overpopulation solution.

Visually distinct with short dark hair, piercing blue eyes, and a slim frame, Tōya’s style shifted from lime-striped shirts to blue "FiTsZ" attire and later a green jacket, mirroring his evolving self. His dynamic with Konoha Б Nanase, a fellow moonchild whose optimism clashed with his cynicism, anchored their shared role in redirecting the comet. Though still preferring space’s autonomy, Tōya accepted humanity’s intricacies, balancing lingering skepticism with hard-won recognition of collaboration’s worth—a duality defining his journey from resentful outcast to reluctant bridge between worlds.
