Description
Baron Bata Jagger, more commonly known as Lord Jaguar, is a character introduced in the eleventh Dragon Ball Z film. He is a wealthy human and self-proclaimed baron who serves as the instigator of the film's events, positioning himself as the long-time rival of the martial arts champion Mr. Satan.

Lord Jaguar is a portly man who favors aristocratic clothing, including a red suit, a bow tie, and a small, neatly trimmed mustache. His physical appearance is somewhat unassuming, and he notably does not maintain any significant level of physical fitness, preferring leisure over training. This is a point of contrast with his past, as he once shared a dream with Mr. Satan of becoming a martial arts champion. In their youth, Jaguar was defeated by Satan in a fight, a loss that left a deep psychological scar and caused him to abandon his martial arts ambitions. Instead, he turned to managing his father's business affairs, accumulating great wealth that he would later use to fuel his vendetta.

Personality-wise, Lord Jaguar is portrayed as a rather unintelligent and arrogant individual who is driven primarily by greed, spite, and a thirst for revenge. Despite his high social status, he often mispronounces common words and phrases, revealing a buffoonish side beneath his authoritative demeanor. His primary motivation is to expose Mr. Satan as a fraud to the entire world, thereby getting revenge for his childhood defeat. To achieve this, he devises an elaborate plan that also includes a bid for world domination. He uses his fortune to hire a team of geneticists led by Dr. Kori, tasking them with creating a perfect clone of the legendary Super Saiyan, Broly, from a sample of the Saiyan's blood. In addition to the Bio-Broly project, he also commissions the creation of several other Bio-Warriors to serve as preliminary opponents.

In the story, Jaguar blackmails Mr. Satan into coming to his castle by threatening to publish an embarrassing childhood story about him to the press. He intends to have his Bio-Warriors defeat Satan in a staged tournament, thereby shattering his reputation. However, his plan quickly unravels when Android 18, Trunks, and Goten arrive and easily defeat his lesser warriors. Forced to rely on his secret weapon, Jaguar unleashes Bio-Broly, whom he believes he can control. This proves to be a fatal miscalculation. Bio-Broly is uncontrollable and attacks indiscriminately, soon turning on his creators. As the culture fluid that sustains the clone begins to consume his entire laboratory complex, Jaguar finds himself in a life-threatening situation. When Trunks offers to rescue him, Jaguar hesitates, believing he deserves to die for the destruction his ambitions have caused. In the end, Trunks saves him anyway, and Jaguar is left to express remorse for his actions.

His key relationships are defined by his rivalry with Mr. Satan and his transactional role as a patron to his employees. He has a cousin named Men-Men, whom he sends to deliver his challenge to Satan. He also has a pet dog named Hei, a creature of bio-engineered origin that can transform into a monstrous form but is ultimately one of the first victims of the out-of-control Bio-Broly. Lord Jaguar has no notable combat abilities of his own; his power is derived entirely from his financial resources and the technology he can purchase. He does not undergo any significant character development during the film, remaining a comedic and somewhat pathetic villain whose scheme backfires spectacularly. He survives the disaster at his castle, a rarity for a film antagonist, having learned a harsh lesson about the dangers of meddling with forces he cannot hope to control.
