Description
Agundas is a minor antagonist in the live-action film Dragonball Evolution, portrayed as a contemporary of a young Goku. His background is that of a typical high school bully, depicted as a student at the same school as Goku and a player on the American football team. He is best known as the loyal best friend, right-hand man, and constant companion of the school’s primary bully, Carey Fuller.
In terms of personality, Agundas is presented as a brutish and arrogant individual who derives enjoyment from intimidating and tormenting others. He shares his friend's dismissive and cruel attitude, particularly towards Goku, whom they mock with the nickname Geeko. His motivations are simple and lack grand ambition; he is driven by a desire to maintain his social standing as a bully and to impress his leader, Carey Fuller. A key catalyst for his actions is jealousy, as both he and Carey had previously tried and failed to date Chi Chi, leading them to target Goku after he successfully goes out with her.
Agundas’s role in the story is strictly functional as a minor obstacle in the early, mundane portion of Goku’s life before the main fantasy plot begins. He serves to highlight Goku’s initial restraint and hidden power. The key relationship for Agundas is with Carey Fuller, to whom he acts as a devoted follower. He has no meaningful connection to the main cast beyond being an antagonist to Goku and is not involved with characters like Bulma, Master Roshi, or Lord Piccolo. Agundas experiences no significant character development throughout the film; he remains a one-dimensional bully. After a confrontation where Goku easily defeats both him and Carey without throwing a single punch—simply by dodging their attacks and causing them to knock themselves out—Agundas and his companions are humiliated and flee, exiting the story.
Regarding notable abilities, Agundas possesses no superhuman powers, martial arts skills, or ki manipulation. As a high school athlete, his only assets are his physical size and strength, which are rendered completely ineffective against even a restrained Goku.
