Description
Metamacha, also known as Medamatcha, is a minor antagonist and one of Lord Slug's loyal henchmen in the film Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug. He is a short, stout, frog-faced alien with green skin, large yellow eyes, pointed ears, small horns, and red lips. His body features long arms and short, stubby legs, giving him a seemingly comical and harmless appearance at first glance. However, Metamacha is a deadly and ruthless warrior who displays a sadistic sense of humor. He is utterly devoted to Lord Slug’s plan to conquer Earth and convert the planet into a biological spaceship, showing no remorse for the destruction he causes.

Upon arriving on Earth, Metamacha assists in locating the Dragon Balls for his master, successfully finding them alongside fellow henchmen Angila and Wings. When Gohan and Piccolo confront Lord Slug and his forces, Metamacha takes on Gohan in battle. He uses a Continuous Energy Bullet attack to wear down the young Saiyan and then unleashes his signature ability: releasing small, energy-draining clones of himself called Medas from his body. These clones swarm Gohan and exhaust his energy, nearly killing him. When Piccolo steps in to shield Gohan from a lethal Full Power Energy Wave, Metamacha attempts to use an absorption technique on the arriving Goku. The technique fails, and Goku swiftly defeats him with a single powerful blow, causing Metamacha to crash to the ground dead. He and his Medas later make a brief cameo appearance among the villains escaping Hell in Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn.

Metamacha has no significant character development; he serves as a mid-level obstacle for the heroes, showcasing his deceptive strength and unique cloning abilities before being easily overpowered by a stronger opponent. His primary relationships are with his master, Lord Slug, and his fellow henchman Angila, with whom he coordinates attacks. Among his notable abilities are the Continuous Energy Bullet, Full Power Energy Wave, and the Komedamatcha technique, which allows him to spawn the energy-sapping Medas that overwhelm his targets through attrition.
