Description
Miyako Godai is the daughter of Chizuru Godai, a renowned principal dancer and director of the Godai Ballet Studio. Trained in ballet since childhood under her mother's guidance, Miyako has shoulder-length black hair swept into right-parted bangs, distinctive purple eyes, and a beauty mark beneath her right eye. She commonly wears school uniforms or ballet attire featuring a purple dress, white tights, and pink pointe shoes.

As a second-year transfer student at Iwakura Junior High School, Miyako identifies Junpei Murao's innate ballet talent and recruits him to her mother's studio, reigniting his passion for dance. She participates in the school's science club and plays the piano.

Joyful and kind-hearted, Miyako deeply cares for friends, particularly her cousin Ruō Mori, acting as his primary emotional support following his traumatic childhood of abandonment and abuse. Her dedication to ballet stems from a childhood promise to become a "princess" protecting Ruō. However, she battles self-doubt due to her mother's persistent criticism that her gentle, unassertive nature makes her unsuitable as a prima ballerina.

Miyako develops romantic feelings for Junpei but chooses to prioritize her mutually dependent bond with Ruō. When Ruō departs for ballet training in Russia, she reaffirms her commitment to his well-being. She actively supports his emotional recovery, joining a cathartic beach dance where he releases suppressed trauma, cementing her acceptance of his true self and role as his steadfast ally.

Professionally, Miyako advances through dual enrollment at the Godai Ballet Studio and Haruka Namikawa Ballet Company, joining the latter's SS class during her second junior high year. After central conflicts resolve, she trains exclusively at the Godai studio alongside Ruō while Junpei pursues training elsewhere, marking a new chapter in her ballet journey.
