Description
Kishime is a fictional antagonist from the animated film Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest. He is one of three bio-android warriors, also referred to as bio-warriors or brutal warriors, created by the scientist Dr. Kochin to serve the brain of the deceased Dr. Wheelo. His name is derived from kishimen, a type of flat udon noodle that is a specialty of Nagoya, Japan, the hometown of the series creator.

In terms of appearance, Kishime is the smallest of the three bio-androids created by Dr. Kochin. He has a hideous and vaguely reptilian form, characterized by green skin, pointed ears, and a series of dorsal fins running down his back. He typically wears dark blue armor covering his torso and thighs, complemented by red shoulder pads, white gloves, and boots over white socks.

Kishime does not demonstrate independent sentience or a complex personality. He appears to operate solely according to his programming, executing the orders given by his creator without question or hesitation. In combat, he is ruthless and determined to succeed in his mission, employing deceptive and treacherous tactics rather than relying on brute force. He never speaks throughout the film.

Kishime's primary motivation is simply to fulfill the commands of Dr. Kochin and Dr. Wheelo, which include acquiring a powerful body for Dr. Wheelo and eliminating anyone who interferes with that goal. He plays a significant role as a recurring enforcer for the villains. Early in the story, he is present when Piccolo is captured by the three bio-androids. He later participates in a demonstration of the bio-androids' power against Master Roshi, where he lands the finishing blow by electrocuting the elderly martial arts master with his electric whip. When Goku infiltrates Dr. Wheelo's fortress, Kishime becomes a key obstacle, using his unique teleportation ability and electric attacks in tandem with his fellow warrior Ebifurya to immobilize and nearly defeat the Saiyan. He also successfully captures both Krillin and Gohan, shocking them repeatedly and setting them up for Ebifurya's freezing attack.

Kishime has two key relationships within the story. He is a loyal creation of Dr. Kochin, serving alongside his two fellow bio-androids, Misokatsun and Ebifurya. He works most closely with Ebifurya, coordinating attacks to exploit the weaknesses of their opponents; Kishime's electric shocks would paralyze a target, allowing Ebifurya to freeze them solid.

Kishime possesses several notable abilities. His primary offensive technique allows him to generate and extend electrified whips from his arms and chest, which he uses to lash and shock his enemies. He can also use a more powerful version of this attack, called Lightning Flash, to sprout multiple whips to ensnare and electrocute opponents such as Krillin and Gohan. His most distinctive skill is an unnamed teleportation technique. Unlike a standard afterimage, when Kishime uses this ability, his physical body vanishes, and more importantly, his ki signature completely disappears, making him impossible to track. This ability, combined with his extraordinary speed, initially allows him to evade all of Goku's physical attacks. According to a movie pamphlet for the subsequent Dragon Ball Z film, Kishime has a stated power level of 7,000. He is also capable of flight, as depicted in the video game Dragon Ball Heroes.

Ultimately, Kishime is defeated by Goku. After Goku breaks free from Ebifurya's ice technique using the Kaio-ken, he lands a single devastating blow to Kishime's back in midair, circumventing his teleportation with superior speed and power. Kishime is last seen lying motionless on the floor with electricity sparking across his body, signifying his destruction.
