Gon is a small, dinosaur-like creature who serves as the main character of his series. He has orange skin and white spikes, with a relatively small torso compared to his bulky legs. Despite his cute and diminutive appearance, Gon is a mischievous and aggressive bully who does not get along with any animal he meets. He is short-tempered and stubborn, often attacking other creatures unprovoked. He is shown to be uncaring and apathetic towards the wellbeing of others, frequently knocking them away with great force or forcing agile animals to carry him. This behavior makes him feared by almost all other animals, though he is popular with those his own age. Gon is unable to communicate with other animals in their common language.

Gon possesses a wide array of notable and often absurd abilities. He has exceptional durability and immense physical strength, able to carry elephants on his head and throw an adult male orca a long distance. His claws can deal slashing damage, and his teeth are strong enough to chew through the tentacles of a giant squid. He can also produce a fire blast from his mouth known as Dino Breath, which is relatively large for his size. One of his primary offensive moves is a powerful flatulence called Gon With the Wind, which is strong enough to knock over anyone who smells it. He can also create a Stink Bomb. Despite having stubby arms, Gon can break the laws of physics to fly by flapping his arms, and he is an excellent swimmer.
