TV-Series
Description
Nathan Seymour, publicly known as the superhero Fire Emblem, wields formidable pyrokinesis for swift fire generation and manipulation—creating dense fireballs or jets with minimal motion. Their pyrokinetic strength rivals only Lunatic's blue flames. Beyond their powers, they exhibit extraordinary driving prowess, evading machine-gun fire in high-mobility race cars. As owner-operator of sponsor company Helios Energy, their costume features corporate advertising. Residing in Stern Bild City's Gold Stage, Nathan balances introspection and obligingness with intense cosmetic obsession and morning lethargy due to low blood pressure.

Raised in an all-boys boarding school, Nathan endured bullying and ostracization for feminine interests like jewelry and makeup, alongside attraction to males. Parental resentment deepened their isolation. A traumatic memory involves hostile reactions to presenting with long hair and a dress, causing temporary abandonment of that expression. They later embraced a nonbinary identity with feminine presentation, using formal and informal feminine pronouns in Japanese ("Watashi," "Atashi"). Early English adaptations used masculine pronouns, but Season 2 onward employs they/them consistently. Nathan asserts self-acceptance: "There is nothing wrong with me, I am glad I was born this way, and I love myself."

Fire Emblem's personality merges flamboyance, confidence, and flirtatiousness—propositioning male colleagues with phrases like "I'll give you a big kiss when you get back" and nicknaming Barnaby "Handsome." They display physical affection through snuggling or inappropriate touching. Though typically high-pitched, their voice deepens when angered. Prioritizing hero-team harmony, they offer romantic advice and support, especially to female heroes like Dragon Kid, who describes them as "strong as a man and gentle as a woman." Loyalty and justice guide their actions, though trauma resurfaces during stress, such as nightmares revisiting bullying.

During Hero TV missions, Fire Emblem confronts adversaries like Jake Martinez and navigates memory-altering events. In *The Rising*, Johnny Wong engineers a nightmare forcing Nathan to relive bullying, parental rejection, and dysphoria. Dragon Kid defends them publicly as "the strongest person," helping Nathan overcome the ordeal. They join the battle against Wong, shield Blue Rose, and combine powers with Dragon Kid and Blue Rose for victory. Later, they aid in defeating Virgil Dingfelder and participate in city cleanup.

Season 2 pairs Fire Emblem with Sky High in a buddy system. They become the top-ranked duo, hosting events like Vinculum's opening. Nathan confides in Wild Tiger and Barnaby about struggling with Sky High's perfectionism, feeling exhausted by image pressures. Overhearing this, Sky High admits his own insecurities and efforts to impress Nathan, even citing mundane flaws like eating leftover pizza. During Vinculum's structural collapse, Wild Tiger and Barnaby launch Fire Emblem toward Sky High; their combined powers stabilize debris. Post-crisis, Sky High explains inviting Wild Tiger and Barnaby to acknowledge their unmatched synergy, leading to a pact for greater openness.

Fire Emblem combats threats like Mugan and Fugan, confronting them on patrol but being petrified after one punch. They revert post-villains' defeat and Nicolai Brahe's death. When NEXT-powered "X" emerge, Nathan recalls Golden Ryan's encounter with Gregory Sunshine, whose touch caused power spirals. Fire Emblem helps identify Gregory's role in amplifying NEXT abilities via a stolen drug, though authorities dismiss their claims. They remain active in hero duties, including patrols with Sky High and collaborative crisis response.
