Description
Thomas Taurus, alias He Is Thomas, is a 17-year-old NEXT distinguished by silver hair, emerald-green eyes, and a lean athletic build. Orphaned at nine after his parents perished in a traffic accident, he and younger sister Ruby endured rejection in a state facility due to anti-NEXT prejudice. Defiantly fleeing to the slums to stay together, their struggle culminated in a violent robbery encounter that left Ruby with a leg gunshot wound—an injury that fractured their bond when authorities separated them permanently, placing Ruby in an adoptive home while Thomas navigated survival alone.

His harsh upbringing cemented a philosophy of radical self-reliance, shaped by vigilante L.L. Audun’s creed: “believe in nothing but your own strength.” This ethos defined his early hero career, where he spurned partnerships—even with assigned ally Mr. Black—and wielded telekinesis (limited to his physical strength’s scope) as a solitary vigilante. Impulsive brutality, like assaulting a civilian-shooting criminal, drew disciplinary suspension. Trust eroded further when a duplicitous elderly couple drugged him, framing him for theft.

Yet collaborative battles against Audun-devotees Mugan and Fugan nudged his rigid worldview. A pivotal moment came when Mr. Black risked himself to shield Thomas mid-combat, an act Thomas reluctantly acknowledged. Later, discovering Ruby—fully healed and settled in Pleiades, thanks to Mr. Black’s covert efforts—he chose family over heroism, departing Stern Bild despite unresolved tensions with sponsor Jungle over Mr. Black’s role.

Even as he softened toward collaboration, Thomas retained his lone-wolf instincts, tactical brilliance evident in crisis analysis—like tracing a blackout’s source to rescue allies. Echoes of his past lingered: compulsively consuming gummy candies once shared with Ruby, a bittersweet tether to fractured kinship. His journey closed not with abandonment of independence, but a tempered recognition of connection’s fragile necessity.
