Alex Polidori

Description
Alex Polidori is an Italian voice actor, actor, and singer, widely recognized for his extensive work in dubbing, particularly for animation and live-action films and series. Born in Rome on November 16, 1995, he grew up in a family with deep roots in the industry, being the son of singer-songwriter Silvano Polidori and the younger half-brother of voice actor Gabriele Patriarca. This environment led him to begin his dubbing career as a child.

Polidori's early and most notable roles quickly established him as a prominent young talent in Italian dubbing. He provided the Italian voice for the titular character in the Disney film Alla ricerca di Nemo (Finding Nemo), Koda in Koda, fratello orso (Brother Bear) and its sequel, and Ro, the kangaroo, in various productions featuring Winnie the Pooh. His work as a child voice actor earned him the "Voce emergente dell'anno" (Emerging Voice of the Year) award at the Gran Galà del Doppiaggio during Romics 2006.

His career spans a wide range of anime and animated series, confirming many of the roles listed. He is the Italian voice of Mikhail in Sirius the Jaeger, Yu Ominae in Spriggan, Thomas Taurus in Tiger & Bunny 2, and Taylor Travis in Pacific Rim: The Black. His filmography also includes the role of Asu in the Star Wars: Visions episode "The Village Bride," Takashi Yamada in Dino Girl Gauko, Ricky in the OAV Freedom, and Norimichi Shimada in the film Fireworks, Should We See it from the Side or the Bottom?. In the Battle Spirits franchise, he voiced Tegamaru Tanashi in Battle Spirits: Heroes. He also lent his voice to the Lucky Red re-dubbing of the Studio Ghibli classic Castle in the Sky, taking on the role of Pazu, a character previously voiced by his brother in an earlier edition. Other notable anime roles include Toji Suzuhara in the Netflix redub of Neon Genesis Evangelion, Katz Hawin in a new edition of Mobile Suit Gundam, Sugimura in Whisper of the Heart, and Rochalizo in Children of the Whales. For the live-action adaptations of Fullmetal Alchemist, he voiced Alphonse Elric.

In addition to these, his voice is featured in a vast array of other animated works. He is known for playing Finn the Human in the Italian version of Adventure Time, Ezra Bridger in Star Wars Rebels, and Miles Morales/Spider-Man in various animated series, in addition to his live-action dubbing of the character for Tom Holland. He has also voiced characters in series like Craig, 44 Gatti (as Cucciolo), and Digimon Fusion Battles (as Sparrowmon).

Beyond his specialization in animation, Polidori is also the regular Italian voice for prominent young actors in Hollywood. He is best known for dubbing Tom Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, starting with Captain America: Civil War, as well as in other films like Uncharted. He is also the official voice of Timothée Chalamet in most of his Italian-dubbed roles, including Call Me by Your Name, Dune, and Wonka.

Outside of voice acting, Alex Polidori has also worked as a television actor, appearing in Italian series such as Fiore e Tinelli, Il bello delle donne, and Ricomincio da me. He has also appeared on various TV programs alongside comedian Nino Frassica, including a sketch at the Sanremo Music Festival in 2003.
