Description

Riki Ryugasaki reads a book about ancient mysteries during class. His teacher confiscates the book,and classmates laugh at him. After school, his friend Natsumi Inaba shows him a rabbit-themed B-Daman called One Sided=Rabbit and explains the game. They go to a flea market where Kakeru works at the Miracle Shoot B-Daman Shop booth with owner Akira Saigo. Natsumi enters a nearby B-Daman tournament and knocks down target pins. Kakeru overhears two boys discussing a secret competition for only the best players. A mysterious voice questions if he believes what he heard, followed by a second voice telling the first to be quiet. Kakeru turns to find B-Der Samuru Shigami. At Miracle Shoot, Akira offers Kakeru any B-Daman as payment for work. Kakeru chooses Thunder Dracyan, a Blue Dragon model in a display case. Akira hesitates but agrees, warning about a legend stating Dracyan forms a strong bond with its chosen wielder. Outside the shop, Kakeru registers Dracyan on a B-Ter terminal. The registration triggers a vision of a glowing blue dragon in his mind, and the terminal instructs him to attend a tournament alone without telling anyone. Kakeru locates a hidden facility where he finds Samuru training and releasing a dragon-shaped Super Shot. Akira Saiga explains the B-Ter connects to the B-Net, which controls worldwide B-Daman tournaments. Riki receives a tournament summons and leaves for the Crossfire venue. At the hall, Rory proposes a challenge while awaiting other competitors. The Heaven Bridge Breaker event requires players to fire a marble through a swaying bridge of EZ Targets to hit a final Heavy Target. Reggie Mak completes the course in 27.51 seconds using Strike Cobra's Venom Bite Spirit Shot. The stranger instead leads Riki to a chamber housing a large marble called the B-Crystal, explaining that the B-Animals originate from this object and that the WBMA studies it through Crossfire tournaments. He introduces his dragon-type B-Daman, Strike Dragren, and proposes a contest: whoever shoots a marble the farthest across a set of ledges wins. Riki accepts but fails to achieve a straight shot due to wind interference. The boy then takes one shot, using Dragren's horn as a sight to fire directly into the B-Crystal, which emits a blinding light. When Riki regains his vision, the boy and Dragren have vanished. The next day at school, a new student enters Riki's class and reveals himself as the same person: Novu Moru. Novu apologizes for leaving Riki at the WBMA and states he knew he would be transferring to the school. Takakura announces Novu as a new East City B-Shot, displaying his achievements and revealing that Novu’s advice helped Rory create Strike Swallow. Hugo counters by using his finishing move, and his lion smash breaks through the snake to achieve a time two seconds faster than Reggie. Derek then uses his Supreme Tigare to bite through the same snake target. Reggie discovers Novu and Derek are collaborating on a plan. Novu allows Reggie to battle him for the truth and reveals his ability to combine Dragren with Derek’s Tigare. The combination creates Mighty Dragren, which shoots down targets on a fast, zigzagging skateboard course without difficulty. Riki and his team advance through every round to reach the finals against the defending champion. Samuru later acknowledges Reggie’s growth in strength and praises him for his victory over Yuki. In the final match, Riki and his friends use their skills to defeat the champion and secure the tournament victory.
