Sam Regal is the professional alias of Samuel Brent Oscar Riegel, an American voice actor, writer, and director born on October 9, 1976. He has been active in the voice acting industry since 1997, working extensively on English dubs of anime series and films for studios such as Bang Zoom! Entertainment, NYAV Post, and Studiopolis.

Regal has portrayed a wide array of characters in anime. He is known for voicing the hot-blooded S-Class hero Metal Bat in One Punch Man. In the K project, he provided the voice for the enigmatic Yashiro Isana in both the anime series and the film K: Missing Kings. His film credits also include the role of Flynn Scifo in the prequel film Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike.

He has had several long-running and recurring roles in major franchises. Regal is the voice of Taniguchi, the lecherous friend of the protagonist, in both The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and its film sequel, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. His other notable anime roles include Gusto in AIKa R-16: Virgin Mission, Joey Toy in The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye, Wan Derbard in K.O. Beast, Tenma Koizumi in Here Is Greenwood, and Souichiro Kadotake in Ghost Talker's Daydream. He has also had significant parts in popular series such as Viral in Gurren Lagann, Teddie in Persona 4: The Animation, and Mephisto Pheles in Blue Exorcist.

Beyond his work in anime, Regal has a distinguished career in animation and video games, notably as the voice of Donatello in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and Phoenix Wright in the Ace Attorney video game franchise. He frequently collaborates with a close-knit group of fellow voice actors, including Liam O'Brien, Matthew Mercer, and Troy Baker, across numerous projects. A significant achievement in his career came in 2018 when he won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program for his work on the series Danger & Eggs. Since 2015, he has also been a central cast member of the hugely popular Dungeons & Dragons web series Critical Role.
