Description
Grizz Sukino is a main character in the anime B-Daman Crossfire, known in the Japanese version as Gouichiro Tsukinowa. He is a fifteen-year-old boy with a distinctive appearance that includes dark skin, short and spiky purple hair, and matching purple eyes. His eyebrows are notably long and dark. Grizz typically wears a white t-shirt with a purple stripe beneath an orange-brown button-up top that features flower designs, purple stripes, and a purple pocket protector. He completes his outfit with bright blue shorts marked with yellow stripes and brown sandals that have a toe guard.

Grizz is recognized as a wild B-Shot who belongs to the East Block, and he uses the power-type B-Daman known as Thunder Bearga. Thunder Bearga is designed with bear-like features, including a head part with a red visor and a core part called the Torque, which is specifically engineered for powerful shots. True to his equipment, Grizz demolishes targets with powerful plays that effectively utilize his large physique.

In terms of personality, Grizz is described as an athletic type who is usually calm and kind. However, when it comes to competing, he becomes more excited than anyone else and demonstrates a strong sense of justice. This competitive fire emerges prominently during battle situations, where his normally reserved demeanor gives way to passionate engagement.

Grizz makes his first appearance at a secret training facility, where he is among several members welcoming another character named Riki. He is the first to challenge the testing machine, dominating the first stage using his Super-Shot technique called Claw Slash. However, he fails to succeed on a subsequent stage of the test. Later, he is seen among other members laughing at Riki's poor performance on the second stage of the same testing sequence.

Grizz returns at the second Crossfire challenge, which takes place at a location called Enchanted Long Bridge. During this event, he loses his ranking to Riki and another competitor named Kaito. When Kaito faces his own challenge, Grizz is seen ridiculing him due to his lateness. Despite the rivalry, Grizz later cheers for Riki when he achieves first place in the performance.
