Nicole Oliver

Nicole Oliver is a Canadian voice actress and actress, born on February 22, 1970, in Ottawa, Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University and a Master's degree in Communication from Royal Roads University, with additional training from the British American Drama Academy. Her career in voice acting has been extensive, particularly within the Vancouver-based voice acting community, where she has been a prominent member of the Union of BC Performers, serving on its executive board and contributing to collective bargaining efforts. In 2017, she was nominated for a UBCP ACTRA Best Voice Award.
Oliver's work in English dubs of anime spans several decades and includes a wide array of characters. She provided the voice for Emeraldas in the English adaptations of both the 1979 film Galaxy Express 999 and its 1981 sequel, Adieu Galaxy Express 999. In the original video animation Sanctuary, she voiced the character Kyoko Ishihara. Her role as Hsien-Ko came in the English dub of the Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge anime series. She is also credited with the role of Kei Kuruma in Project ARMS: The 2nd Chapter and as Hinano in Trouble Chocolate. For a younger audience, she voiced Miss Sarah Bellum in the English version of Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z and Ms. Carruthers in Go! Go! Itsutsugo Land. Her anime film work also includes the role of Kaguya in InuYasha the Movie: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass and a part in the English dub of the Hong Kong film A Chinese Ghost Story: The Tsui Hark Animation.
