Naria is a young woman belonging to the same cat-eared humanoid race as Merle, distinguished by her light skin and silver hair. She is the twin sister of Eriya. When they were still children, their parents were killed by humans because of prejudice against their race, and the twins themselves were hunted and nearly killed. They were rescued by Folken Fanel, then the prince of Fanelia. In gratitude and through the time they spent with him, both Naria and Eriya developed deep romantic feelings for Folken and became utterly loyal to him. This loyalty is the sole reason they serve the Zaibach Empire; they do not truly believe in the kingdom’s goals. Over several years of intense training, Naria became highly skilled in multiple forms of combat, with a specialization in piloting Guymelefs. She and her sister were assigned the Silver Teiring, a guymelef designed for high-speed flight and attack missions. In the story, Naria acts as a supporting antagonist, carrying out any mission Folken assigns without hesitation, even when it endangers her own life. Her bond with Eriya is close, and they fight as a coordinated pair. Throughout the series, Naria’s unwavering devotion to Folken remains constant, and she does not undergo significant personal change. Her notable abilities include formidable hand-to-hand combat skills, expert piloting of the Teiring, and proficiency in high-speed aerial warfare.
