Luchs is one of the three Saber Dolls created by Gerhardt von Faust, the ruler of Gartland, and serves as an antagonist in Saber Marionette J. Her name is the German word for lynx, fitting the feline naming pattern shared with her counterparts Tiger and Panther. She is the direct counterpart to Cherry among the heroines, possessing the same advanced sensor systems and battlefield scanning abilities that make her the strategic intelligence of Faust’s marionette forces. Luchs wields explosive throwing knives as her primary weapons, which she can throw with exceptional accuracy.
Her personality is marked by a mysterious and aloof demeanor, though she occasionally displays moments of silliness that hint at a more unpredictable side. She is highly cunning, capable of devising devious and subtle plans in a matter of seconds, and she is not above manipulating or deceiving even her own comrades to achieve her goals.
