Description
Momoko Ohara is a former Japanese voice actress from Kanagawa Prefecture, born on March 12, 1988. Her journey into the industry began after she was selected in the Aniplex Super Voice Audition in 2006, leading to her professional debut in 2007. She was initially affiliated with Voice & Heart before transferring to Mausu Promotion in 2008.

Ohara's career was marked by a series of supporting roles that showcased her versatility, particularly in voicing young boys and energetic characters. She became a familiar presence in the long-running series Minami-ke, providing voices for multiple characters including Yu, Shuichi, and Ninomiya across several seasons. Her talent for playing younger versions of male leads was also evident in popular series such as Gintama, where she voiced a young Ketsuno Seimei, and Durarara!!, as a young Izaya Orihara.

One of her most recognized roles was Miyashita in the comedy series Mitsudomoe and its sequel, Mitsudomoe Zōryōchū!, a part mentioned in the prompt. Her other notable anime credits include Kakeru Ryugasaki in Cross Fight B-Daman and roles in the Jewelpet franchise. Beyond anime, Ohara contributed her voice to several video games, such as Soiree in Fire Emblem: Awakening, Taluah in Conception, and characters in the Corpse Party series. Her work also extended to dubbing foreign films and television series.

After nearly a decade in the voice acting industry, Ohara made a significant career change. Facing a decline in job offers and considering her long-term future, she retired from voice acting in October 2016. Demonstrating her continued passion for the animation industry, she successfully transitioned to a role behind the scenes, joining the renowned animation studio Sunrise, which later became Bandai Namco Filmworks. In this new chapter, she took on responsibilities such as managing the official websites for classic series, including those in the long-running Gundam franchise. Her decision to leave the industry was publicly announced, and she has since been cited as an encouraging example of a successful career transformation.
