Cathy Weseluck is a Canadian voice actress who has built an extensive career spanning over three decades, working primarily with Ocean Productions in Vancouver, British Columbia. Before entering the world of voice acting, she worked as an associate producer at CBC Radio, where a colleague encouraged her to try voice-over work. Her first professional voice job was a radio spot for the Vancouver Centre Mall, which eventually led to her long-standing career in animation and anime dubbing.

Weseluck has become a prominent figure in the North American anime dubbing community, particularly through her work with Ocean Studios during the 1990s and 2000s. Her extensive filmography includes the role of Harold in the series Go! Go! Itsutsugo Land, also known as Let's Go Quintuplets. She voices Mrs. Higurashi, Kagome's mother, in the Inuyasha franchise, a role she has reprised in later series including Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon - The Second Act, where the character is also known as Grammy. In the Ranma ½ franchise, Weseluck provides the voice for the Chinese Amazon Shampoo, one of Ranma's fiancées, appearing in productions such as Team Ranma vs. The Legendary Phoenix.

Her work in the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise is substantial, including the role of Dorothy Catalonia in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Special Edition. She also voices Catherine Bloom in the same series and Kati Mannequin in Mobile Suit Gundam 00. In the magical girl series Powerpuff Girls Z, Weseluck voices Ken Kitazawa, the child genius son of Professor Utonium who accidentally grants superpowers to three teenage girls.

Weseluck has voiced the character Antoinette in The Humanoid. Her work in the Project A-ko franchise is particularly notable, as she voices C-ko Kotobuki across multiple installments including Project A-ko 2: Plot of the Daitokuji Financial Group, Project A-ko 3: Cinderella Rhapsody, Project A-ko 4: Final, and Project A-ko: Uncivil Wars. Beyond anime, Weseluck has an extensive body of work in Western animation. She is perhaps best known for voicing Spike the Dragon in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, a role she played throughout the series' nine-season run from 2010 to 2019, as well as in related films and specials. In the same series, she also voices Mayor Mare and Coco Pommel. She voiced the title character in the cult classic series Cybersix, portraying both the leather-clad gynoid protagonist and her male alter ego Adrian Seidelman. Her other animation credits include Ravess in Storm Hawks, Buttercream Sundae in Littlest Pet Shop, and Teela in The New Adventures of He-Man.

In addition to her performance work, Weseluck has contributed to the industry behind the scenes as a voice director, singing director, casting coordinator, and instructor. She served as singing director for My Little Pony Tales, casting coordinator for Animated Classic Showcase, and voice director for the English version of Spiff and Hercules. She has also conducted voice-over workshops and private coaching sessions since the early 2000s.

Weseluck has cited Cybersix, Death Note, and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic as among her favorite projects to have worked on. Her colleagues and fans have noted her improvisational skills, with one notable example being Spike's botched performance of the Cloudsdale anthem in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, which was entirely improvised by Weseluck. Her career continues into the present, with recent credits including video games such as Star Wars Outlaws in 2024 and Rift of the NecroDancer in 2025.
