Description
Naoya Homura is a character from the anime B-Daman Crossfire who also operates under the alias Novu Moru. He is a thirteen-year-old boy with silver hair and green eyes, and he was formerly regarded as one of the top B-Daman players in the South Block before the main events of the series. His personal B-Daman is Strike Dragren. Naoya Homura possesses a calm, analytical, and highly strategic approach to battles, relying on careful planning and logical reasoning to dominate his opponents. He is deeply ambitious and competitive, driven by a strong desire to become the greatest B-Daman player and to prove his strength through victory. When adopting the persona of Novu Moru, he wears a black cloak and a mask that conceals his face, both to hide his identity and to intimidate his opponents, as he believes fear is a powerful tool in competition. Despite this intimidating alter ego, Naoya Homura is also a loyal and caring friend who prioritizes the needs of his teammates and possesses a strong sense of justice, often standing up for what he believes is right. In the story, he serves as the main antagonist during the first half of the series and later as an overarching antagonist, frequently clashing with the protagonist Riki Ryugasaki and his friends. He is a member of the team Rising Sun, a group of players dedicated to becoming the strongest team. Throughout the series, his true identity as Novu Moru is eventually revealed, and he undergoes development that shows him understanding that his value as a person extends beyond his B-Daman skills. His most notable abilities include his exceptional strategic thinking, his ability to remain composed under pressure, and his skillful control of Strike Dragren in battle, allowing him to read and anticipate his opponents' moves effectively.
