Jean-Marc Delhausse is a Belgian actor born in Liège in 1960, widely recognized for his extensive work in voice dubbing for animation. He trained at the Conservatoire Royal de Liège, where he received a first prize in elocution in 1989, and later at the Conservatoire Royal de Brussels. His career encompasses stage acting, with performances in numerous theatrical productions, as well as work in television and film. However, he is best known for lending his voice to a multitude of characters in French-dubbed animated series and films.

Delhausse's voice is a prominent presence in the French-language versions of several major anime franchises. He has a long-standing association with the Pokémon franchise, having voiced multiple key characters across various series and films. His most notable Pokémon roles include the iconic Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo in Mewtwo Strikes Back and its sequel, Pokémon: The Return of Mewtwo. He is also the voice of Professor Samuel Chen, the Pokémon professor, in the long-running anime series as well as in films like Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!. Additionally, he has voiced the villainous Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket, in several seasons and has taken on other Pokémon roles such as Wobbuffet in Pokémon Journeys: The Series and Pocket Monsters: Diamond & Pearl.

Beyond the world of Pokémon, Delhausse's voice work spans a wide range of anime and animated series. He voices King Dedede in Kirby: Right Back At Ya! and Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men: Evolution. In the world of One Piece, he was the first voice of Smoker. He is also featured in series such as Aggretsuko, where he voices Hyodo, and Burn The Witch, as Roy B. Dipper. His roles extend to Saint Seiya, where he has voiced characters like Aldebaran and Hades in the Hades arc, and Naruto, providing voices for Shibi Aburame and Hidan.

In addition to performing as a voice actor, Delhausse also contributes to the dubbing process in other capacities. For instance, he served as the ADR director for the French dub of the anime series The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest, a series in which he also voiced the character Zaldias.
