Mifue Shinohara is a first-year student at Kishimai High School and a member of the Go-Home Club, a group of characters trying to escape the virtual world of Mobius. She has short brown hair and large brown eyes, and she is the second shortest member of the club, with only Naruko being shorter. Physically, she appears very skinny, which is tied to her personal reason for being drawn into Mobius.

Her personality is initially shown as tomboyish and quick-tempered; she is easily irritated, annoyed, and angered. Despite this, she also has a bright and fearless side, often serving as the mood maker among the female characters. She has a strong love of food and eating, yet is simultaneously extremely insecure about her figure and weight. This internal conflict between her enjoyment of eating and her body image concerns is a central aspect of her character.

Mifue’s primary motivation stems from the dissatisfaction with her real-life appearance, which leads her to find refuge in Mobius, where she hopes to escape that insecurity. As a member of the Go-Home Club, her role is to help the group uncover the truth of their world and fight against the Ostinato Musicians. She is entrusted with missions that require boldness, such as infiltrating a tea party hosted by Sweet-P.

Key relationships include a close friendship with Suzuna, as they are the same age and share easy camaraderie. She also interacts frequently with other Go-Home Club members like Naruko and Marie Mizuguchi. Her development focuses on gradually overcoming her self-consciousness and learning to accept herself, growing from a defensive and irritable individual into someone more confident and open.

In combat, Mifue is a technical fighter whose effectiveness depends on the enemy’s Risk level. The higher the Risk, the better her performance, allowing her to trigger useful skills and knock opponents into the air for aerial combos. Her abilities reflect her analytical and opportunistic nature in battle.
