TV-Series
Description
Fuuka Leventon is the central protagonist of her story. She is a teenage girl with brown hair and blue or green eyes, hailing from the planet Midchilda. Her background is rooted in hardship, as she grew up as an orphan in a children's home. During her time there, she was known for being protective of her close friend, Rinne Berlinetta.
In terms of personality, Fuuka is characterized as a straightforward and earnest individual. She maintains a polite demeanor, even when addressing younger individuals who are her seniors in the context of athletic competition. Beneath this respectful exterior, however, lies a somewhat rough-and-tumble nature, as she is not one to back down from a fight. Her early life after the orphanage was difficult; she worked a series of live-in jobs but frequently lost them due to her combative nature. At the start of her journey, she holds a strong dislike for martial arts, yet she is driven by a powerful and conflicting motivation: to confront Rinne again. One year prior to the main events, their friendship fractured after an argument that culminated in a physical fight where Fuuka was soundly defeated by the now-stronger Rinne. This loss led Fuuka into a period of drifting aimlessly.
Her role in the narrative begins when she is saved from a street brawl by Einhard Stratos, the U15格斗竞技 champion. Recognizing Fuuka’s latent talent, Einhard invites her to join the Nakajima Gym. There, Fuuka takes on a role as a live-in part-time worker and a trainee fighter. She becomes Einhard’s apprentice, learning the Kaiser Arts (also known as霸王流) fighting style. This mentorship is the core of her development, as she dedicates herself to getting stronger for the singular purpose of facing Rinne again on equal terms.
Fuuka’s key relationships are the driving forces of her character arc. Her bond with Rinne Berlinetta is the most significant. What was once a childhood friendship marked by mutual protection becomes strained and antagonistic as Rinne grows cold and ruthless in her pursuit of victory. Fuuka’s stated goal becomes to punch some sense into her old friend, unable to accept the person Rinne has become. Einhard Stratos serves as her mentor and a source of stability, providing her with a path forward and the tools to pursue her goal. Another key relationship is with her intelligent device, which she receives from Einhard. The device's formal name is Huracan, but Fuuka affectionately calls it "Ula."
Throughout the story, Fuuka undergoes significant development. She transforms from a disillusioned, drifting girl into a disciplined martial artist. Her skills progress from raw, untrained brawling to a more refined style under Einhard's tutelage. Her ultimate challenge is a private, unsanctioned match against Rinne. In this climactic fight, she utilizes a powerful technique known as the Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle, or 霸王断空拳, to achieve victory. This win serves not as an end, but as a means to shatter the emotional walls between them, ultimately allowing the two to reconcile and restore their former bond.
Regarding her notable abilities, Fuuka is a practitioner of the Modern Belka magical system. Her magic color is blue. Her fighting style is primarily based on the Kaiser Arts she learns from Einhard, but she displays a remarkable talent for absorbing and incorporating techniques from other fighters, such as Strike Arts. Her physical potential is noted to be exceptional, with some observers commenting that her fists are blessed at a skeletal level. In official championship matches, she can enter an "Adult Mode," which projects an eighteen-year-old version of herself as her fighting form. Her signature technique is the "Fuuka-style Hegemon Sky-severing Knuckle," a powerful punch delivered using the principles of her master's school.
