His confinement lasted until encountering Rimuru, a slime who entered his cave. They forged an immediate bond: Veldora named the slime Rimuru and shared his surname Tempest, symbolizing their pact. To bypass the seal, Rimuru absorbed Veldora using the Predator skill, storing him internally while seeking permanent release.
