Description
Ayn Felice is a supporting character from the anime Tales of Zestiria the X. She is a young woman with red hair who typically dresses in practical merchant attire suitable for travel, which mirrors the clothing of her twin brother. Along with her brother, Ayn Talfryn, Felice is a member of two intertwined organizations: the Sparrowfeathers, a merchant guild, and the Scattered Bones, an assassin guild. The twins are often referred to collectively as the Ayn Twins due to their tendency to appear and act together. Their residence is the Tintagel Ruins, which serves as a hideout for their guilds.

Felice's personality is defined by her accommodating and friendly nature, which makes her approachable to allies such as the protagonist Sorey. She shares a close bond with her brother, and both twins are noted by other guild members to possess exceptional sharpness and intelligence, second only to their leader, Rose. Felice displays considerable enthusiasm and admiration for Rose, readily supporting her ideas and being genuinely excited by her proposals. Despite her cheerful and cooperative demeanor as a merchant, her affiliation with the Scattered Bones reveals a more dangerous side to her skills and her life.

The backstory of Felice is tied to the history of her guilds. Prior to the events of the story, she and her brother were likely members of the Windriders, a mercenary group. This group was betrayed by Prince Konan of Rolance, leading to the execution of their leader, Brad. Following this disaster, the surviving members, including Felice and Talfryn, became part of the new organizations founded by Rose, forming what they call their "family".

Within the story, Felice first appears on the road to Ladylake, where she and the other Sparrowfeathers are repairing their carriage after it was attacked by wolves. She is later seen at the Tintagel Ruins and plays a role in assisting Sorey and his companions. Along with the other members of the Scattered Bones, she helps the heroes escape from danger, such as during the incident at the Rountable Palace. Her business acumen is displayed when she and her brother consult Rose in Lastonbell about whether to sell Mabo buns or curry buns, leading to Rose's successful idea for Mabo curry buns. Later in the narrative, Felice, along with Eguille and Rosh, is captured by the army of Rolance after being framed for the murder of a cardinal. This event is part of a plot orchestrated by the traitor Lunarre, whose true feelings about their guild family shock Felice. The bond among the guild members is strong, and Felice's capture becomes a critical event that the other characters work to resolve. In the distant epilogue, an aged Felice appears alongside her brother at the presumed grave of Rose.

In terms of abilities, Felice is primarily depicted as a capable merchant and a member of an assassin guild. While her specific combat abilities are not highlighted in great detail, her very presence in the Scattered Bones indicates she is trained in covert operations and assassination. Her most notable skills, however, lie in her sharp intelligence, her business sense as a merchant, and her reliability as a member of Rose's trusted inner circle.
