Description
Delta is a character from the Boruto manga and anime series, originally introduced as a prominent antagonist. She is a high-ranking member of the Inner circle of the clandestine organization known as Kara. Her existence is rooted in tragedy and scientific manipulation, as she was created by the organization's scientist, Amado Sanzu. Delta is a clone modeled after Amado's deceased daughter, Akebi Sanzu, using her genetic material. While she shares the exact physical appearance of Akebi at the age of 24, her personality and consciousness are entirely distinct, making her a separate individual created for a specific purpose.

Delta possesses a volatile and abrasive personality. Her most defining trait is an explosive temper, which often manifests as destructive impatience. She is known to have kicked over a table that her leader, Jigen, was using for a meal simply because she was frustrated with the progress of a mission. She is deeply focused on完成任务 but has a low threshold for delays, becoming visibly enraged when things do not go according to plan. Delta holds most of her Kara colleagues in contempt, but her deepest hatred is reserved for her creator, Amado, whom she despises. Her self-confidence is immense, leading to a powerful superiority complex. She initially looked down on the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, viewing him as beneath her. However, after her defeat, she becomes fixated on seeking revenge against him. Beyond her rage, Delta exhibits a cruel and callous nature, treating Naruto's son Kawaki as nothing more than an object, specifically Jigen's vessel. She has a sadistic streak, demonstrated when she attempted to kill the young girl Himawari simply to gain a psychological advantage in a fight, showing she has no qualms about harming innocents.

Delta’s primary motivation while serving Kara was to recover the "vessel," Kawaki, who had escaped to the Hidden Leaf Village. She is fanatically loyal to the organization's goals and sees her missions as the highest priority. In the story, her most significant role is serving as a direct physical threat to Naruto Uzumaki. She confronts him in the Hidden Leaf Village, engaging in a brutal and high-stakes battle designed to showcase the power of Kara's scientific ninja tools. This fight serves to demonstrate that even the most powerful traditional shinobi can be challenged by the new era's advanced technology. After this encounter, her role shifts from a primary enforcer to a pawn in a larger game, ultimately being deactivated and later reprogrammed to serve the very village she attacked, becoming a part of Konohagakure's defensive forces.

Her key relationships are largely antagonistic or utilitarian. She despises her creator, Amado, but is also fundamentally tied to him as his creation and subsequent project. Her loyalty to the leader Jigen is unquestioning, but even that relationship is strained by her violent outbursts. She views Kawaki with pure instrumentality, as a container and not a person, and has a history of physically abusing him. Her most significant relationship is with Naruto, her primary opponent, whom she comes to respect only as an obstacle to be eliminated. Following her reprogramming, she develops a new, reluctant relationship with the ninja of Konoha, serving under their command, though she retains her harsh and irritable personality.

Delta undergoes a significant, though externally forced, development. Her arc begins as a formidable enforcer for Kara, seemingly destroyed by Naruto. However, her consciousness survives via a technological drone and is uploaded into a new, identical body. She is later deactivated by Amado using a hidden command code when she tries to stop his defection. When Amado defects to Konoha, he brings her deactivated body and subsequently reprograms her allegiance. She emerges as a new version of herself, with the mark on her forehead changed from the Roman numeral "I" to a triangular spiral symbol, indicating her new loyalty to the Hidden Leaf Village. In this new state, she fights alongside former enemies against new threats.

Delta is a formidable fighter whose power is derived entirely from extensive body modifications using scientific ninja tools, rather than traditional chakra-based techniques. Her most notable abilities are centered on her eyes. She can absorb any ninjutsu with her right eye and release that same technique back at an opponent with her left eye. These same eyes can also generate a highly destructive beam that severs the cellular bonds of anything it hits, making the wounds impossible to heal, even for those with rapid regeneration. Her legs are modular, capable of transforming into powerful thrusters for high-speed flight and extending to create sharp, piercing stakes. She carries a small, detachable drone on her back that acts as her core. This drone shares her vision and, most critically, stores her consciousness. So long as this drone survives, she can transfer her memories and personality into a spare body, making her extremely difficult to permanently destroy. She also has access to multiple backup body replicas for this purpose. In combat, Delta is also a highly skilled taijutsu fighter, capable of trading blows with Naruto while using a shroud of chakra to enhance her physical strength and speed.
