Description
Yukari Obishima is a B-rank All-Rounder in Yuba Squad. Her short dark hair styled in a bowl cut and tan complexion, developed from working on her family's four-generation satsuma orange farm, frequently leads to her being mistaken for a boy, as occurred during her initial Border recruitment. She wears the standard squad uniform: a white collared jacket over a black shirt, knee-length dark grey shorts, and tall dark boots.

Obishima possesses a consistently docile personality, readily accepting orders from squad captain Takuma Yuba. She holds significant respect for Yūma Kuga's combat abilities, specifically acknowledging his judgment, adaptability, creativity, and strength. She exhibits tolerance toward instances of gender misidentification. Her personal interests include exercise, consuming black sesame dango and satsumas, and an affinity for dogs. Rumors link her to a school sports club, potentially tennis, track and field, baseball, or soccer, though the specific activity remains unconfirmed.

Her All-Rounder role demands proficiency with both Attacker and Shooter Triggers, requiring at least 6,000 points in each category. Her primary weapon is Kogetsu, which she wields competently despite its weight, sometimes one-handed. A noticeable skill gap exists between her and elite fighters like Yūma Kuga, who evaded her attacks while restrained. She demonstrates adequate defensive capabilities and agility in close-quarters combat, described as "light on her feet." Recently incorporating Shooter Triggers, her aptitude leans more toward Attacker techniques. Yūma Kuga observed her potential for growth following their engagements.

Her tactics emphasize surprise and coordination. She activates Bagworm momentarily before ambushes to obscure her position, dispelling it just before striking. With Asteroid, she conceals bullets behind her back, stepping aside before firing to catch opponents off-guard. She employs Hound to create containment volleys, though with limited success against highly mobile adversaries like Yūma within wire zones. Her Shield manifests in standard hexagonal configurations for projectile defense.

Captain Yuba trains her in situational analysis; she independently reaches conclusions matching his assessments during combat, such as identifying opponents who disappear from Radar. Within Yuba Squad, she operates alongside Takuma Yuba and Kazuto Tonooka, with Nono Fujimaru as their Operator. Her combat record includes participation in coordinated assaults, such as an unsuccessful multi-agent attack against Hyuse where her Bagworm-assisted sneak attack failed to connect. Similarly, her attempt to ambush Kai Minamisawa from behind proved ineffective.
