Katsuki Bakugo, operating under his hero name Dynamight, joins the World Heroes Mission as a work-study intern from Endeavor Agency. The global operation is a direct response to the terrorist group Humarise and its plot to detonate Trigger Bombs across the world, intending to wipe out all Quirk users. Bakugo deploys with a covert black-ops team, led by Endeavor, to the country of Otheon, which is suspected to contain Humarise's main headquarters. The initial raid on the headquarters finds no trace of Humarise members or the bombs, forcing the heroes into a standby posture. While running low-priority errands for the Pro Heroes, Bakugo, Izuku Midoriya, and Shoto Todoroki witness a jewel robbery in progress. Bakugo instantly engages, chasing down and capturing one of the thieves with swift efficiency, a clear display of his combat skill and rapid reaction to a crisis. After the robbery and the accidental involvement of a local courier named Rody Soul, Izuku Midoriya is framed for mass murder and becomes a fugitive. Bakugo and Todoroki later regroup with Midoriya and Rody in the neighboring nation of Klayd, arriving as backup during an assault by the Humarise agent Beros. Bakugo helps neutralize this enemy, enabling the team to concentrate on retrieving a vital device that holds a kill code for the Trigger Bombs. Inside Humarise's primary base, Bakugo confronts high-ranking members of the organization, fighting through intense battles to secure the path for his teammates. In these clashes, he employs his Explosion Quirk and its advanced techniques, including the Howitzer Impact, a maneuver of such force it obscures a large hillside and the entrance to the Humarise facility. For this mission, the World Heroes Association provides Bakugo with a special advanced stealth costume. Derived from the winter variant of his standard suit, the neoprene outfit is primarily black with orange accents and retains his signature "X" design. It includes redesigned Grenadier Bracers shaped as flashbang grenades, silver shoulder plates bearing a "WHA" insignia, and strategic modifications to support clandestine operations in Otheon. Bakugo's conduct throughout the mission is marked by a professional focus on the objective. He works in close conjunction with his teammates, a notable shift from his typically solitary and abrasive demeanor. This cooperation illustrates his ongoing development and capacity to operate within a larger team framework when necessary, all without sacrificing his characteristically aggressive and highly effective approach to combat.
