Description
Nazuna is a first-year student at Yamabuki High School who moves into the Hidamari Apartments during the second year of Yuno and Miyako's time living there. She resides in room 203. Her father was transferred for work, and her mother followed, prompting her to move into the apartments. Unlike the other main residents, Nazuna is not in the art department; she is enrolled in the general education course at the school. She has sandy blonde hair, often styled in braids with large side bangs.

Nazuna is characterized by her quiet, reserved, and extremely shy demeanor. She is very polite and formal when interacting with others, especially those she does not know well. She possesses a deep-seated inferiority complex and a lack of self-confidence, often feeling that she has no particular hobbies, talents, or abilities. This makes her sensitive and prone to tears when startled or criticized. She can be easily intimidated by the more boisterous personalities around her and worries about her place among them.

Her primary motivation is to find her footing in her new school and living situation and to overcome her own anxieties. She is an effort-oriented and careful person who prefers caution and gradual adaptation to sudden change. Her quiet, observational nature provides a stabilizing presence within the lively group at the apartments.

Nazuna serves as a new-generation character introduced alongside her fellow freshman, Nori, refreshing the dynamic of the established cast. She initially struggles with her lack of direction compared to the art-focused students, and her journey is one of slowly building confidence and finding her own identity. She often acts as an observer and a reactor to the energetic chaos around her, contributing a sense of calm and gentle stability to the daily life at the Hidamari Apartments.

The most significant relationship is with Nori, the other freshman, with whom she shares the experience of being new and quickly becomes a close friend. She also looks up to the older residents, particularly Yuno and Hiro. Yuno’s kind nature makes her approachable, and Hiro’s motherly care provides Nazuna with a source of comfort and reassurance. She respects the more confident residents but can be intimidated by their strong personalities.

Throughout her time at the apartments, Nazuna gradually shows signs of development. While she remains fundamentally shy, she begins to open up, participate more in group activities, and assert herself in small ways. Her growing confidence is a result of the supportive and accepting environment created by the other tenants. Her notable abilities are not tied to any specialty or skill; her key traits are her politeness, careful observation, and her capacity for growth as she learns to believe in herself.
