Description
Tōko Usagihara is a first-year student in Class 1-3 at Roubai Academy, assigned seat number two. Originally from Tokyo, she resides in the Mangetsu Dormitory, sharing her room with Neko Kamimoku. Her surname blends "rabbit" (兎) and "field" (原), while her given name means "transparent child."

Previously isolated due to bullying in Tokyo, she transferred to Roubai Academy and adopted a cheerful, mischievous persona as a coping mechanism—masking underlying vulnerability through energetic behavior. During introductions, she attempted reinvention by wearing fake rabbit ears referencing her surname, though classmates remained unresponsive.

Open and playful, Tōko frequently teases peers, exemplified when she jokingly proposed swapping uniforms with Komichi Akebi and swiftly clarified after Komichi began undressing. Despite her gregarious exterior, introspective moments reveal lingering insecurities, such as her smile fading after lending Komichi a hair tie. Academically, her poor grades contrast her social adeptness.

Culinary activities anchor her growth. Coming from a confectionery-owning family, she initially ignored baking but now serves as her dormitory's "cooking commissioner," discovering passion in preparing sweets and meals for classmates. She navigates strict dorm rules requiring purchase requests, manages ingredient selection, and accepts small payments. Her baking fosters connections to prevent past isolation while providing fulfillment, and she assists Komichi with cooking despite Komichi's lack of skill.

An active softball club member, Tōko maintains friendships across her class. Initial envy of Komichi's confidence evolved into steadfast support, positioning her as a key ally. Her journey involves reconciling her past through baking and social engagement to rebuild her identity at Roubai.
