Description
Miku Suride, nicknamed "Purin" for her habit of puffing her cheeks when annoyed—a resemblance to pudding first noted by childhood friend Serufu Yua—is a first-year student at Yuyu Girls’ Vocational High School, renowned for its advanced tech curriculum. Her academic prowess and mastery of innovations like 3D printing contrast with her covert nostalgia for childhood DIY ventures, such as crafting accessories and sketching plans for a bench swing with Serufu, materials for which she secretly retained.

When separated from Serufu after enrolling at tech-centric Yuyu—opposed to Serufu’s DIY-focused Gatagata High—Miku adopts a tsundere facade, masking her concern for Serufu’s welfare and unspoken desire to reconnect. Her guarded demeanor softens as she engages indirectly with the DIY Club through Serufu, proposing initiatives like the treehouse project to boost membership.

Interactions with the club, particularly American prodigy Juliet "Jobko" Queen Elizabeth VIII, reignite her appreciation for manual craftsmanship. Collaborating on projects like the treehouse and a wind chime with Serufu, Miku merges her technical expertise with hands-on ingenuity, devising solutions for structural challenges during construction. This synergy bridges her engineering acumen with DIY resourcefulness.

Her arc traces a shift from dismissing traditional crafting to valuing its tangible rewards in an era of automation. Initial aloofness evolves into active participation, reflecting both a repaired bond with Serufu and a recognition of collaboration’s creative potential. Moments of cheek-puffing frustration and quiet gestures of care underscore her balance of intellectual rigor and emotional vulnerability, charting a path from guarded ambition to heartfelt engagement.
