Description
Hiro Oozora is one of the main protagonists in the Danball Senki W series. He is a 13-year-old student who becomes an LBX player after being drawn into a global conflict involving the terrorist organization known as Detector. He is the son of Haruka Oozora, a scientist whose work frequently left Hiro alone at home.
Hiro has an outgoing and polite personality, often using the suffix -san when addressing others. He is depicted as a major fan of a superhero anime called Senshiman, which he has watched since childhood. This enthusiasm is a significant aspect of his character. He is a fast learner, quickly adapting from a novice to a skilled battler, and has a habit of cheering up his teammates with his confidence when they are in low spirits.

When he focuses intensely on his Control Pod (CCM), his eyes change color from dark brown to light brown and feature glowing yellow lines, and his control speed surpasses that of even the experienced Ban Yamano. Hiro is initially introduced as an arcade champion who accidentally comes into possession of his first LBX, Perseus, after a mysterious man named Cobra swaps it with his intended prize. He quickly befriends Ban Yamano, a renowned LBX champion, who teaches him the basics of controlling an LBX. After witnessing a vision of rampaging LBXs that comes true, Hiro joins the secret organization Seeker to fight against the Detector threat. He forms a close team with Ban and a martial artist named Ran Hanasaki, and their partnership is central to the story.
Throughout the series, Hiro's skills develop rapidly, allowing him to win major tournaments such as the Ungra Texas Champion. He pilots several LBXs, including Perseus and the more advanced Ikaros Force, and participates in a special co-op LBX called Σ Orbis with Ban and Ran. His key relationships include his mother Haruka, his mentors and allies Ban and Cobra, and his teammates Ran and Jessica Kaios, the latter of whom he partners with during several operations.
