When Hyoma arrived, Haori joined Kushige in welcoming him per household protocol. She recognized Hyoma’s hostility toward tsukumogami stemmed from his siblings’ past deaths. During Nagi and Hyoma’s physical clash, Haori intervened by demanding cessation, though Hyoma was subdued. In a confrontation with a paper umbrella spirit, Haori shielded Botan directly as attacks redirected toward her. After the Nagatsuki mansion’s destruction and Kushige’s incapacitation, Haori accompanied Botan’s group seeking refuge with the Kadomori family. Later, Haori attended a meeting with Hyoma, Botan, and the Kadomori family head to establish new arrangements. Heightened security concerns prompted the Yachimata family to summon Haori and fellow Nagatsuki tsukumogami for a guardian fitness assessment. Accepting this required temporarily transferring Botan’s protection to the musical tsukumogami trio. While traveling separately to meet the Yachimata leader, Haori’s vehicle faced ambush by a paper-umbrella-wielding figure, signaling ongoing threats.
