Miyuki Sawashiro is a highly esteemed Japanese voice actress and narrator with a career spanning over two decades. Born on June 2, 1985, in Tokyo, she began her professional career while still in middle school. Her entry into the industry came in 1999 when, at the age of 14, she participated in a public audition for the anime Di Gi Charat and won the Special Jury Prize, which led to her debut role as Petit Charat, also known as Puchiko. Early in her career, she was affiliated with Mausu Promotion. During her high school years, she participated in a homestay program in Pennsylvania, which helped her develop proficiency in English. In August 2015, she transitioned to her current agency, Aoni Production.

Sawashiro is widely recognized for her remarkable versatility, capable of portraying a vast spectrum of characters, from young boys and teenage girls to mature, enigmatic women. This range has made her one of the most in-demand and respected figures in the industry. Her ability to convey deep emotion and complexity has been showcased in numerous major franchises. For instance, she has taken on the iconic role of the sultry thief Fujiko Mine in the long-running Lupin III series. In fantasy and adventure genres, she is known for voicing Kurapika in Hunter x Hunter, Sinon in Sword Art Online, and Mordred in the Fate series. She also portrays the headless rider Celty Sturluson in Durarara!! and the enigmatic Suruga Kanbaru in the Monogatari Series. Her talent extends to villainous roles, such as the demon Daki in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and dual roles like the contrasting Momobami twins, Kirari and Ririka, in Kakegurui.
