Description
Kotarou Higuchi is the main protagonist of the anime Pita-Ten. He is a sixth-grade student at Misaki Seiei Private Academy who lives with his father, though his father is rarely home because of work. When Kotarou was very young, his mother died saving him from being hit by a speeding truck. This tragic loss forced him to become self-reliant from an early age and left a deep emotional scar. As a result, he is a quiet, reserved, and stoic boy who keeps to himself and rarely shows his feelings.
