Camellia's rebellion, young Sharo D'Hortensia ascended as the crowned King of Hortensia. He now serves as a puppet monarch under the dominion of Pope Alexis Vall d'Hebron and the Church of Hortensia. The Church cemented its authority by supplanting the kingdom's Knights Templar with its own knights, acting as Sharo's regent to direct political affairs and exploit his sovereignty for consolidating power. Sharo's reign persists amid unrelenting instability from the Camellia uprising and emerging monstrous threats. Ecclesiastical manipulation heavily mediates the kingdom's governance, reducing his role to a ceremonial figurehead while genuine control resides entirely within the Church's hierarchy.
