Description
Elletear Lou Nebulis IX is the first princess of the Nebulis Sovereignty and the eldest sister of Aliceliese and Sisbell. At nineteen years old, she is renowned as a peerless beauty with an extraordinary figure and an aura of mature elegance. Emerald hair and heterochromatic eyes contribute to her striking appearance, which has been described as almost divine. Despite her royal status and outward perfection, Elletear harbors a deep-seated resentment toward the very institution she was born to serve.

Behind her gentle and sociable demeanor lies a profound hatred for the Nebulis Sovereignty. Elletear rejects the nation's core ideology of being a paradise for astral spirit users, seeing it instead as a discriminatory system that judges an individual's worth solely by the strength of their spirit. She is highly intelligent, calm, and resourceful, having cultivated extensive knowledge, cultural refinement, and political shrewdness. Her cunning is so advanced that even at a young age, she has been compared to the Empire's formidable Eight Great Apostles. The Sovereignty's people often remark that she possesses everything except a powerful astral spirit.

This single flaw—the weakness of her own astral spirit—is the source of her anguish. Elletear's inherited spirit grants her the ability to mimic any voice she has heard, a talent useful for manipulation and sowing discord but worthless in combat. As the first princess, she was passed over as a candidate to succeed their mother, Queen Millavair, in favor of her more powerfully gifted younger sisters. Constant comparison to them, especially Aliceliese, fueled a自卑感 and a bitter sense of alienation. She felt like the sole outsider within her own family, her desperate efforts and natural talents forever overshadowed by a genetic lottery she lost.

Driven by this rejection and a desire to burn down the system that scorned her, Elletear conspires to destroy both the Nebulis Sovereignty and the rival Empire. To acquire the power she lacks, she voluntarily becomes a test subject for the Empire, designated Subject E. At a research facility called Elsa's Coffin, she undergoes gruesome experiments involving the transplantation of the Great Astral Calamity, a feared disaster among astral spirits. Paradoxically, her weak original spirit gives her an abnormally high compatibility with the calamity, allowing her to achieve a perfect integration that ranks her alongside the legendary progenitors and celestial emperors. This transformation grants her the Divine Astral Mutation, immense regenerative abilities that can heal from any wound, and the power to easily restrain powerful nobles like the head of the Zoa family.

In the story, Elletear serves as a hidden traitor and a major antagonist. She uses her position as princess to feed intelligence to the Empire, collaborates with the scheming Hydra family to undermine her own house, and orchestrates the events leading to the Empire's invasion of the Sovereignty. Her role evolves from a master manipulator in the shadows to a direct, monstrous threat after her transformation into a true witch. As a witch, she loses much of her physical humanity, becoming a being of black mist who can phase through matter, generate phantom astral spirits, and use a deadly song that induces an unbreakable coma.

Key relationships define her journey. She holds a complex animosity toward her sister Aliceliese, viewing her not just as a rival but as an obstacle who unconsciously stole the love and recognition Elletear craved. Her relationship with Sisbell is also antagonistic; she shows a willingness to sacrifice her youngest sister for her goals, though a faint glimmer of original affection remains. Her only genuine bond is with Johaim, a former elite soldier of the Empire who was also ostracized for his lack of power. Recognizing a kindred spirit, she takes him as her loyal right-hand man. With him alone, Elletear sheds her manipulative mask and reveals a sincere, trusting emotional core, vowing to create a new world for the both of them.

Over the course of the narrative, Elletear develops from a resentful, politically adept princess into a world-class calamity. Her quest for power is a tragic irony; in gaining the strength to destroy the world that rejected her, she loses the very humanity she felt was denied to her. Nevertheless, she embraces her monstrous evolution, finding comfort in the physical changes as her body no longer requires water or, eventually, even breath. Her actions force her sisters and the protagonists to confront the hypocrisy of their own societies, and she becomes a threat that must be stopped not merely through force, but by addressing the prejudice that created her.
