Medusa is a powerful Tower Witch and the leader and teacher of the KMM Gang. She is the eldest of the gorgon witches. Her background involves having been imprisoned at Rothenberg inside a monolith, from which she managed to escape. Originally, she pursued Honoka Takamiya because the White Princess Evermilion was sealed inside him. Her motivations center on capturing or gaining that power for her own purposes, as she seeks control over the Tower, the primary source of magic in her world. Though a highly capable witch, her eyes and arms were sealed, limiting her ability to use her full power. Because of this restriction, she could only employ a technique called pseudo-petrification. Despite this limitation, she nearly defeated Ayaka Kagari and almost captured Honoka. Her plans were thwarted when Evermilion manifested after Honoka swallowed a medicine given to him by Chronoire, which broke the seal keeping the White Princess contained within him. Medusa's personality is cold, calculating, and strategic. She approaches situations with intelligence and independence, rarely relying on others and often working alone or through her subordinates. As the head of the KMM Gang, she commands a group of Tower Witches who follow her orders. Her relationships with her followers are that of a leader and teacher. In the later parts of the story, particularly in the manga, Medusa is cured from the earth magic that had afflicted her and appears as a normal woman, indicating a form of redemption or personal development. Her notable abilities include her high magical power as a Tower Witch, the pseudo-petrification technique, and her capacity for strategic planning. Despite her seals, she remains a formidable antagonist.
