Description
Iina is the eldest of the three sisters who manage the Kokoro Library. As the oldest sibling following the death of her parents some years prior, she carries the dual responsibility of overseeing the library's administration and acting as the head of the family. This position places her in a maternal role, caring for the welfare of her younger sisters, Aruto and Kokoro.

In terms of her personality, Iina is typically a calm and friendly person who greets others with a smile. However, she can also show a cool or distant side when something displeases her, a trait that the character Jun often experiences firsthand, as she does not hold a very high opinion of him. Her most defining characteristic is the exceptionally warm and empathetic nature she shows toward her family, with her younger sister Kokoro being the absolute center of her attention. Iina has a co-dependent and overprotective attachment to Kokoro, which can reach almost absurd extremes. She has trouble coping when Kokoro is away for a long time, and she even sleeps with Kokoro plushies. Her imagination can cause her to lose herself when thinking about Kokoro, and she becomes listless without her. This devotion is reflected in her passionate hobby of photography, as Kokoro is her absolute favorite subject to photograph. Her room is decorated with a large poster and a collection of Kokoro dolls, and she can become genuinely jealous should anyone get too close to her younger sister.

Within the story, Iina acts as a primary caretaker and manager of the library, which is not only her home but also the most important legacy left by her parents. She is resistant to radical changes regarding the library. Her role often involves her trying to be strict for Kokoro's sake, while her own anxieties often surface when Kokoro seeks independence, such as when Kokoro leaves to attend a librarian training course. Iina drives a redecorated military surplus white Schwimmwagen with the license plate 556. Her birthday is October 2nd.

Her key relationships are primarily with her two sisters. With Kokoro, the dynamic is one of intense love and protectiveness, where Iina often cosset her and has difficulty letting go. With Aruto, the middle sister, there is a more balanced sibling dynamic, though Aruto is sometimes left to manage the library alone when Iina is too distracted by her worry for Kokoro. The three sisters work together to run the library, helping each other with tasks.

Regarding development, Iina is faced with the challenge of learning to cope with her intense attachment to Kokoro as her youngest sister begins to grow and become more independent. Her journey involves finding relief and resolve in the face of these separations, such as when a temporary visitor comes to keep her company or when she rediscovers her parents' journals.

In terms of notable abilities, Iina is surprisingly skilled with computers, which she uses in her administrative duties at the library. Her primary hobby, photography, is something she pursues with great passion, though it is singularly focused on her sisters, particularly Kokoro. Physically, she is often depicted with brown hair and green eyes and wears a blue uniform with an apron and bow.
