Reika Hōjō is the student council president at Shungo Ninomiya's school and heiress to the influential Houjou Group conglomerate. Her initial demeanor is proud and haughty, leading her to frequently harass Shungo. After a failed seduction attempt is filmed, she agrees to become his maid and moves into his home. A complicated relationship exists between Reika and Shungo, stemming from their childhood friendship. This past resurfaces, revealing a shared traumatic event connecting her, Shungo, and Mayu Tsukimura. This trauma triggered an alternate, aggressive personality within Reika – "inner Reika." This darker aspect is manipulative and unscrupulous, driven to possess Shungo by any means. It actively uses her succubus abilities to drain male life energy and leverages the Houjou Group's power to eliminate obstacles, such as framing adversaries. This personality takes control during intense jealousy or distress.

As a succubus, Reika possesses life-draining abilities used more overtly by her alternate self. She balances her presidential duties with her self-imposed maid role at the Ninomiya household. She often monitors Shungo's activities, sometimes spying with binoculars, and orchestrates "coincidental" encounters. Her jealousy focuses intensely on Mayu Tsukimura, whom she views as a rival. Reika's development involves confronting her suppressed trauma and the manifestation of her alternate personality. Initially driven by jealousy and control, her actions later reveal a conflict between her genuine feelings and her destructive other self. Key moments include attempts to protect Shungo from her darker persona and participating in efforts to heal the trio's shared childhood trauma. She progresses from antagonistic jealousy to prioritizing Shungo's well-being.

Reika employs Mitsuru Hosaka as her primary assistant and bodyguard, who displays formidable martial arts skill when she is threatened. Shinobu Kirishima, her family's fiercely protective head maid, often threatens Shungo with a sword, perceiving him as a source of Reika's distress. Kirishima eventually moves into the Ninomiya household permanently. Reika also participates in group activities with other female characters, sometimes leading to comedic or compromising situations.
