TV-Series
Description
Haruka Nanami is the central protagonist of her story, a young woman with a gentle and sincere dream that drives her entire journey. She is a teenager of short stature, with short, reddish-orange hair and bright, distinctive yellow eyes. Her appearance is often marked by a look of earnest determination, which reflects her inner character.

Her background is defined by a delicate childhood spent in the countryside. As a child, Haruka suffered from poor health, which led her parents to send her to live with her grandmother. It was there that her grandmother taught her to play the piano, though notably, she did not learn how to read sheet music during this time. This lack of formal training is a challenge she must overcome. Her turning point came during a visit to the city, where the overwhelming crowds and noise made her ill. In that moment of panic, she was calmed by the voice of an idol named Hayato, whose song played on a large screen. This experience became her defining motivation: she resolved to become a composer so that she could one day write a song for Hayato. To achieve this, she enrolls at the prestigious Saotome Academy.

In terms of personality, Haruka is predominantly shy, honest, and optimistic. She can be restless and is often described as a klutz, but her defining traits are her perseverance and her capacity for hard work. Despite her initial lack of confidence due to not having formal musical training, she approaches her studies with a positive attitude. Her caring and genuine nature has a profound effect on those around her, and she possesses an ability to move people's hearts with her kindness and her music, a talent that earns her the nickname Goddess of Music from some of her instructors. She is also somewhat naive and innocent, which contributes to her charm.

Her role in the story is that of an aspiring composer in a highly competitive environment. Upon entering Saotome Academy, she is assigned to work with several idol candidates to help them create music for their performances. Her primary motivation remains constant: to develop her skills as a composer and ultimately fulfill her promise to create a song for Hayato. However, as she works closely with the other students, her motivation expands to include a deep care for their collective success, seeing her own musical growth intertwined with theirs.

Her key relationships form the core of her experience at the academy. She is assigned a roommate, Tomochika Shibuya, who becomes a close friend and confidante. Professionally and personally, she becomes connected to six idol candidates who will later form the group ST RISH. She works directly with several of them, including the upbeat Otoya Ittoki, the refined Masato Hijirikawa, and the gentle Natsuki Shinomiya, whose alternate personality, Satsuki, she learns to understand and accept. Each of these six young men, moved by her dedication and character, ask her to be their partner for the crucial graduation audition. Unable to choose just one for fear of hurting the others, she makes the decisive choice to compose a group song for all of them. An especially significant relationship is with her idol Hayato, whom she eventually discovers is actually a fellow student at the academy named Tokiya Ichinose, a revelation that complicates and deepens their connection.

Throughout her journey, Haruka undergoes meaningful development. She begins as a somewhat insecure girl with a dream but little formal knowledge, specifically unable to read sheet music. Through perseverance and her collaborations, she hones her talent, grows more confident in her artistic voice, and learns to face professional pressures. She moves from being a passive fan wishing to write for an idol to an active creator supporting the careers of her peers. One of her key lessons is embracing vulnerability and understanding that her own emotions are the source of her most powerful compositions.

Her notable abilities center on musical composition. She has a natural talent for writing songs that capture the emotions and strengths of the singers she works with. While she struggles initially with music theory due to her unconventional background, her innate skill at the piano and her ability to create beautiful, moving melodies make her an invaluable partner. More than her technical musical ability, her greatest strength is her empathetic nature, which allows her to bring out the best in the performers around her.
