Teruko Ōkura is the vice-captain of the elite Hunting Dogs military unit. She appears as a young girl with light red hair styled in a wavy ponytail tied with a ribbon. She wears the standard Hunting Dogs uniform, adjusted for her hairstyle, and brandishes a sword. Using her ability, she can change her physical form, shifting into an adult woman or an elderly lady for combat or disguise. Her personality is intensely aggressive, boastful, and volatile. She readily issues violent threats, promising evisceration or gutting to those who oppose her, earning her the moniker "Queen of Blood Thorns" and instilling fear universally. Despite this ferocity, she exhibits unwavering, deferential loyalty to her captain, Ōchi Fukuchi. She occasionally displays childish behavior, such as demanding piggyback rides from her subordinate Michizō Tachihara. Teruko believes her role embodies the "ultimate violence" required to enforce societal order, willingly sacrificing her body and soul through monthly surgical enhancements. She proudly identifies as "society's slave" and a protector of justice. Her ability, **Gasp of the Soul**, allows her to manipulate the age of anyone she touches, including herself. She can rapidly accelerate or reverse aging, with effects persisting after contact ends. She uses this power for psychological torture during interrogations, inflicting age-related infirmities to extract confessions. In combat, she leverages it to weaken foes or enhance her own physical strength by aging into her prime, making her nearly invincible in close-quarters fighting. Teruko possesses advanced interrogation skills focused on breaking resistant subjects using her ability. She is also proficient in wielding a steel whip and sword, integrating these skills with her age manipulation in battle. She pursued the Armed Detective Agency at the Sky Casino, confronting Sigma and destroying part of the casino during her search. Later, she participated in guarding the "Grand Command" at an airport and captured Atsushi Nakajima under Fukuchi’s orders. Aware of Fukuchi’s broader plans, she supported them but released Atsushi to continue his mission. During the final conflict, she witnessed Fukuchi’s defeat by Yukichi Fukuzawa. She then stabbed Fukuchi herself, admonishing Fukuzawa for his hesitation. Following this, she observed Bram Stoker transform into Fyodor Dostoevsky due to the interaction of Fukuchi’s sacred sword and the "Threefold Singularity" phenomenon. Teruko was 12 years old during the Great War, placing her in her late twenties during the main events. She lives by the motto of becoming "society’s dog" and strives to be the "strongest" enforcer of order.
