Description
Jet Link, designated Cyborg 002, is a central character from the long-running manga and anime franchise created by Shotaro Ishinomori. A native of the Upper West Side of New York City, 002 was a teenager and the leader of a street gang. His life took a drastic turn during a violent confrontation with a rival gang, the Sharks, when he accidentally killed one of its members. While fleeing from the police, he was captured by agents of the criminal organization Black Ghost, who offered him escape before forcibly converting him into a cyborg soldier.
Personality-wise, 002 is often brash, impulsive, and quick-tempered, acting as a rebellious counterbalance to the more level-headed team leader, 009. He is openly sarcastic and is not afraid to state his opinions, even when they clash with those of his comrades.
