Kei Sha, also known as Qing She, rose to prominence as a military commander in Zhao during the Warring States period. Serving under General Ri Boku, he stood as the closest candidate to fill the final seat of Zhao's Three Great Heavens before his demise. Orphaned in childhood after bandits destroyed his village and killed his parents, Kei Sha was taken in by a local weaponsmith, residing in an old weapons shop. There, he honed his mind through mock tabletop strategy tournaments, winning prize money. His tactical skill captured Ri Boku’s attention following his victory over one of Ri Boku’s students, leading Ri Boku to adopt him as a pupil and later a trusted vassal. Renowned as "The Silent Hunter," Kei Sha was an instinctual general who wove complex, fluid strategies like a spider's web to ensnare foes. Ri Boku acknowledged him as the most terrifying instinctual general he had encountered, defeated by Kei Sha in countless simulation battles. His military prowess was reflected in his attributes: 88 strength, 90 leadership, and 91 intelligence. He excelled in defensive counterattacks, patiently observing battlefield flows before springing lethal traps. Commanding Zhao's forces at Kankoku Pass during the Coalition Invasion, Kei Sha nearly defeated Duke Hyou by launching a surprise attack on the Duke's army rear, exploiting his instinctual style. When Qin attempted to lure him into a pincer using Duke Hyou as bait, Kei Sha detected the tactic and withdrew swiftly. His leadership inspired fierce loyalty in soldiers like Gaku Ei, motivating troops with sparse words of praise. In the Koku You Campaign, Kei Sha led a 40,000-strong Zhao army alongside Ki Sui's Rigan reinforcements to defend strategic hills. He employed baiting tactics, isolating Qin units such as the Zenou Clan and Rai Do's forces by severing their reinforcements. However, impatience proved his critical weakness. Disregarding Ri Boku’s counsel, he abandoned his defensive "web" to personally assault the Hi Shin Unit, leaving himself exposed. Kan Ki exploited this lapse with a psychological trap. Though Kei Sha escaped an initial Zenou Clan ambush with Ki Sui’s aid, Shin pursued and killed him in a duel. Dying, Kei Sha expressed regret for failing to repay Ri Boku. His death triggered a berserk fury in his soldiers, who sought vengeance. Kei Sha maintained a calm, observant demeanor, though irritation surfaced when opponents evaded his traps. He derived satisfaction from watching enemies succumb to his strategies, remarking once on the "sound of helplessness" as adversaries were dismantled. His appearance featured long black hair tied in two spheres with a chessboard pattern, and he wore orange and black robes over armor. Intense killing intent occasionally manifested around him, visualized as a spider.
