Description
Général Eligor, also known as the Great General of Darkness, serves as the supreme commander of the Mycenae Empire's military forces. His origins are ancient, having held his position as the right hand, enforcer, and trusted confidant of the Emperor of Darkness for over a millennium. For much of this time, the empire slumbered underground, rebuilding its strength. During the final episode of the original Mazinger Z series, it is revealed that Général Eligor, through his subordinate Archduke Gorgon, was secretly manipulating the mad scientist Dr. Hell. Following Dr. Hell's defeat at the hands of Mazinger Z, Général Eligor surfaced to lead the Mycenaean invasion of the surface world directly.
In terms of personality, Général Eligor is driven by an absolute and unconditional loyalty to the Emperor of Darkness and a singular, ruthless desire for world conquest, a goal he is willing to achieve by any means necessary.
