Mari Nikaido is a human woman from Japan who works as a kindergarten teacher, initially at Suminoe Kindergarten in the manga and at Himawari Kindergarten in the anime adaptation. She is the first love interest of the protagonist Kinnikuman, who affectionately calls her Mari-shan.
