Description
Hembei is a small, mysterious, talking pink creature whose appearance is often described as resembling a hippopotamus. He hails from an unnamed magical world, from which he is separated after falling through a tunnel hidden within a waterfall. This accident transports him to the human world, where he awakens inside the closet of a young boy. The tunnel behind him closes, leaving him stranded and unable to return home.
Possessing a gentle and friendly nature, Hembei quickly befriends the boy who finds him. Despite being an unusual visitor, he is accepted into the boy’s household, where he takes up residence. Hembei is defined by his kind-hearted and helpful personality, always eager to assist his new friends.
