OVA
Description
Compa is a nurse-in-training defined by her strong desire to help those in trouble or physical pain. Her pivotal role begins when she discovers an injured Neptune outside her Planeptune home, becoming Neptune's first friend and ally in the mission to save the world from threats like Arfoire. This establishes her as a dependable supporter within the group.
She possesses fair skin, light creamy pink hair curling at the edges, and matching eyes. Her signature look features a black headband marked with a "C", a tan-white wool-styled tank top with detached sleeves, a red plaid skirt, black-brown kneesocks with light pink heart-shaped frills, and matching boots adorned with small ribbons or fuzzy balls. She also wears a black choker with a small heart bearing her "C" logo and carries a similarly marked hip purse. Her prominent bust size relative to her age is noted, though she is depicted as one of the younger human characters.
Compa blends apparent shyness with underlying confidence, occasionally exhibiting moments of obliviousness that lead to random or ditzy remarks. This trait sometimes makes her susceptible to manipulation, such as being deceived into buying a fake disc or tricked by Warechu into divulging information to Linda. Fundamentally kind-hearted, non-greedy, and deeply loyal, she shares a particularly close bond with Neptune (affectionately nicknamed "Nep Nep") and a sisterly relationship with Nepgear ("Gear-chan"). Her childhood friendship with IF is significant. While typically gentle, she can display unexpected assertiveness or a darker edge when provoked, threatening to use her syringe to administer air injections. She shows proficiency in mathematics and has interests in hero genres, arts and crafts, and cooking.
In the OVA "Nep Nep Darake no Festival", Compa participates in the Planeptune Costume Festival with IF and Nepgear. When Neptune falls into a deep sleep from exhaustion, Compa assists in managing the crisis. During the festival's live monster-fighting show, she collaborates with IF to devise a plan to salvage the event after Nepgear experiences stage fright, providing behind-the-scenes support and contributing to a special surprise for the older Neptune arriving from another dimension. This reinforces her role as a practical problem-solver and emotional support.
Across the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, Compa appears in multiple installments. In "Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2", she initially aids Warechu after healing him but later declares him an enemy upon discovering his allegiance to Arfoire. "Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory" depicts her at different stages: as a shy baby bonding with Neptune in Chapter 4, a child learning nursing skills (including chasing Peashy with her syringe) in Chapter 5, and finally as Planeptune Basilicom's nurse helping rescue Peashy in Chapter 7. She is playable via downloadable content in some titles, wielding her giant syringe as both a weapon and healing tool, with abilities including "Monster Call" and healing spells like "Cura" and "Curaga". Later entries like "Megadimension Neptunia VII" and spin-offs including "Hyperdevotion Noire" feature her in supporting or playable capacities.
