Description
Karen Joshua is a central figure in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team story, serving as a senior non-commissioned officer and the second-in-command of the 08th MS Team under the newly appointed commander, Shiro Amada. At 26 years old, she holds the rank of Chief Petty Officer and is an experienced pilot within the Earth Federation Forces' Kojima Battalion, stationed in Southeast Asia during the One Year War.
Before joining the military, Karen was a medical student. She was married to a field medic, but after her husband was killed in combat, she enlisted in the Earth Federation Forces, driven by a desire for revenge. Her past as a medical student proves valuable on the battlefield, as she is able to act as a medic and stabilize wounded comrades in critical situations.
Her personality is defined by a hardened, intense, and no-nonsense demeanor. Having seen considerable combat, she takes her duties seriously and expects the same level of professionalism from her teammates.
