Description
Professor Brighthead is the English-language name, used in the G-Force: Guardians of Space adaptation of Gatchaman, for the character who appears in the original Japanese series as Dr. Kōzaburō Nambu. Some materials also identify him as Dr. Benjamin Brighthead. In the story, he is the chief scientist and administrator of the International Science Organization, known as the ISO, and the creator, mentor, and commanding officer of the five-member Science Ninja Team that opposes the activities of the terrorist organization Galactor.
His background is that of a distinguished scientific figure. His field of expertise is astrophysics, and he is described as a respected alumnus of prestigious universities, including Harvard and Cambridge.
